Project Graduation is an all-night, lock-in party held on graduation night, exclusively for graduates, featuring entertainment, food, and prizes. It’s alcohol-free, drug-free, and run entirely by parent volunteers — a tradition that began nationwide in 1980.

Signing up is simple — the party volunteer sign-up link goes live on this website in March. Until then, the best way to get involved is to come to a committee meeting or help with a fundraiser.

No! Project Graduation is a community event that requires over 100 volunteers to run smoothly. Parents, grandparents, family friends, and FHS alumni who graduated at least two years ago are all encouraged to volunteer. We especially welcome underclassmen parents — it’s a great way to learn the ropes before your student’s senior year, and senior parents are usually busy entertaining family on graduation night. When your student becomes a senior, you’ll appreciate the support of other parents.

Absolutely. There are activities throughout the school year — fundraisers, planning committees, donations — and you choose how much or how little to take on. Every bit of help makes a difference. See ways to volunteer.

We welcome both sponsorships and prize donations, and because FHSPG is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, financial sponsorships are tax-deductible. Details are on the sponsors & donations page.

Ever been on a cruise? Project Graduation is like a six-hour cruise — non-stop entertainment, food, and prize giveaways, celebrating as a class one final time. Every attendee walks away with prizes.

There’s no paper ticket — your admission is the official Project Graduation t-shirt, distributed during one of the practices the week of graduation. Wear it that night to get in.

One form of ID, such as a driver’s license. Leave non-essential items at home — and wear your PG t-shirt.
