About us...
This 2022-23 school year marks the 28th anniversary of celebrating Project Graduation at Fontainebleau High School. Project Graduation is a parent and community sponsored all-night, alcohol-free, drug-free celebration for high school graduates. Modeled after the nationwide program that began in Maine in 1980, this parent and community-sponsored event offers graduates a safe and fun way to celebrate their accomplishments!
FHS Project Graduation is a fun, safe party for our seniors, held on graduation night. In a culture where everything we do seems to involve alcohol, it is important for these young adults to see that alcohol isn't a necessary ingredient for a good time.
It is a great party! Through our cooperative endeavor and generous support of Recreation District #1 at Pelican Park, the celebration is held all night at the Castine Center. FHSPG volunteers direct the planning and production of the party. We depend on the support of community sponsors and need well over 300 volunteers to help with set-up beforehand, to work the party throughout the night, and to assist with the massive clean-up effort afterwards. It is a huge misconception that only senior parents participate. We need the help and support of ALL FHS grade level parents in order for Project Graduation to be successful.
Please join us in helping to make this and future events “A Celebration our graduates will live to remember!”

Project Graduation is a 501c(3) non-profit organization that is independent of FHS and is run 100% by volunteers. Join us in continuing the tradition by participating with our Planning Committee and/or volunteering the weekend of graduation!
